Nebraska football was nearly unstoppable in the mid-’90s, and won their back-to-back national championships in 1994 and 1995 with ease. After a heartbreaking loss the season prior, the 1994 Huskers declared a season of Unfinished Business – spoiler alert, they finished that business with a perfect season and an Orange Bowl win over Miami. Then, of course, came arguably the greatest football team of all time. The 1995 Cornhuskers averaged 53.2 points per game, and topped it off with a statement win over No. 2 Florida in the Fiesta Bowl, 62-24.
